Sima Bina Lori

The great Bakhtiari tribe is a branch of Lors, comprising two clans named Haft Lang and Chahar Lang.The musicians and singers who have verbally preserved this tribal music throughout history are known as Toshmal or the masters of the tribe. Ney, Sorna and Karna are common in this region.

Sima Bina Music from Khorasan

The great Bakhtiari tribe is a branch of Lors, comprising two clans named Haft Lang and Chahar Lang. The petry and music of Bakhtiariis an expressive language of both the young and the old, interwoven into the very fabric of their lives. In general the music of the central provinces is a combination of  Bakhtiari, Gashghaii, Shirazi and Lori.

Sima Bina Hamdel

Since 1979, along with teaching Iranian classical music and vocality to selected students, Sima Bina has focused on doing further research on Persian folk songs, collecting, recording, writing and re-interpreting popular regional music, especially from Khorasan, her native land. By travelling to most remote places all over Khorasan, Sima has been able to gather and revive a collection of almost forgotton songs and melodies. She has thus gained a unique position in the history of Persian music.

Sima Bina Shola

This Music collection is based on the folklore of the Gilan, Fars, Mazanderan and Khorasanregions of Iran.While arranging and performing the songs the artists attempt to reflect the musical character of the corresponding region by using the original instrumentation and singing in the specific dialects.
